As we come into the holidays each year at Wolfgram Insurance, we tend to reflect on the year behind us and all of the wonderful customers we have had the privilege of working with. One of the biggest perks of our job is getting to be a part of the Waukesha community and getting to know the people within it.
That being said, we are often asked about our day-to-day responsibilities and what it means to be an insurance agency. Sure, there is plenty of contracts to process, and records to maintain, but the real highlights are in the ways we serve you, our customer. Continue reading to find out what independent insurance agencies really do and how you benefit most.
Comparison Shopping for New Policies
Much of our time here at the agency is spent gathering quotes from multiple companies to find the best value for our new & existing customers. One of the unique features of an independent agency is the ability to shop and compare home and auto insurance from multiple providers instead of limit our customers to a single carrier. Essentially, we are saving drivers and homeowners the time and hassle of comparison shopping for themselves, and we are also saving them money by looking for carriers that provide the most competitive rates on the coverage they need.
Work with Existing Clients
One of our favorite things about our industry is to maintain an ongoing relationship with our existing customers. When it comes to insurance, it’s not enough to just make a sale and forget it. For us, we are driven by a commitment to continue to earn a client’s business each and every year. That means spending time ensuring our clients are continuing to benefit from their insurance products and are still receiving the best service and value for their dollar.
Sometimes that means making changes to existing policies or updating customer information with the insurance companies. Other times it means working with lenders or being a reliable and trustworthy source for answers to the questions our clients have. Of course, one of our favorite ways of serving existing clients is by finding discounts they are newly qualified for or finding new ways to help them save. It is those small, personalized details that keep drivers and homeowners in Waukesha choosing Wolfgram Insurance time and time again.
Help with Claims
We hope our customers never find themselves needing to file a claim; but if they do, we are here to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible. Our job is to serve as an advocate on behalf of our clients, working to settle issues with insurance companies and resolve claims disputes. We can even provide valuable advice to customers who are concerned about how a claim might affect their coverage. In some cases, that might mean moving forward with a claim. In others, we might recommend sidestepping small claims in order to avoid future complications with coverage – especially for clients who have a recent history of multiple claims.
